Adventure of your life

Absolutely everyone, even the most experienced traveller, will fall in love with this multifaceted adventure:

Part 1. Ostrich FarmThe first excursion is an easy walk around the Ostrich Farm, which begins with the breeding of ostriches and their little chicks. Our professional guides will make this educational tour not only fun, but also provide you with a lot of information about the largest bird in the world. You will have the opportunity to feed the ostriches by hand and even ride them!
Part 2. Introduction to the ancient cultureA second tour of a traditional Khoisan hut allows guests to experience how the real indigenous people of the Klein Karoo lived and survived in the harsh conditions of this semi-desert landscape. At the hut, you will be introduced to Nyom, a representative of the Khoisan people. Nyom will talk about their customs and culture, and one of the reserve rangers will act as a translator. Nyom will also share his extensive knowledge of plants and animals, while highlighting the special medicinal value of the region’s plants.
Part 3. Khoisan TrailThe short walk (less than 1km) takes you past an antbear hole and various antelope antlers that Nyom and his ancestors have hunted for the last 1000 years. The highlight of the Khoisan Trail is the traditional Kudu Dung competition that you can take part in (Nyom only shares this secret game with his guests!).
Part 4. Cango CavesYour tour will then continue to the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains, where you will find the magnificent Cango Caves, which rank among the best caves in the world and are open to the public. Huge stalactite-stalagmite formations in combination with light effects will make an unforgettable impression. The cave also has a restaurant with ostrich on the menu, a gift shop and an excellent interactive center.
